Proenhance Patch Transdermal Male Enhancement Patch review
What I really like about male enhancement supplements is that the supplement manufacturers never run out of ideas to sell their products. We’ve reviewed supplement systems, penis enlargement pills, and lately, male enhancement patches.
When we first heard about ProEnhance patch, we immediately thought – hey, it could work! Thinking that if painkillers and nicotine patches can actually work, then there’s hope for male enhancement supplements to be absorbed through the skin. Transdermal patches can be a thing for many supplements given the fact that your body is exposed longer to the ingredients in the product, which grants you consistent doses of the product – at least that’s the purported science behind it, but does Proenhance Patch really work? We’ll find out.
The backbone of any male enhancement supplement is the ingredients. Since ProEnhance Patch is supposed to be absorbed through the skin, you’d expect new ingredients that are specifically formulated to be absorbed through the skin – but no. ProEnhance Patch contains about the same ingredients that many other male enhancement supplements have. Check it out:
- Gotu Kola
- Saw Palmetto
- He Shou Wu
Ginseng and Saw Palmetto are ingredients that you see in many male enhancement supplements. Ginseng is primarily used as a stamina booster, while Saw Palmetto is used as a testosterone booster to improve sexual desire. Damiana, Gotu Kola, and He Shou Wu are added on as secondary aphrodisiacs. Damiana is currently being studied for its effects on libido, but no actual findings have been published to confirm this. He Shou wu however, has been used in traditional Chinese Medicine as a cure for impotence. Lastly, Menthol is added to the formula to open up the pores of the skin to absorb the ingredients in the patch.
Obviously, we have some concerns about the ingredients used in the patch. All of these ingredients are supposed to be organic ingredients. Regardless if they were able to extract the active ingredients out of these herbs, it would still be difficult to make the active ingredients bioavailable by delivering these herbal ingredients through a transdermal patch.
Transdermal patches are supposed to be specially formulated to be absorbed through the skin. However, the makers of ProEnhance Patch did not release the science behind their product, which only fuels our speculations. In a nutshell, I can’t extract ginseng and mix it will menthol and rub it on my skin – it simply doesn’t work that way. There’s no special formula for ProEnhance Patch, and it would be very unlikely that ProEnhance Patch would work as intended.
Transdermal patches are incredibly intriguing, and in a few years, you can expect more medical breakthroughs with the medicated patch. However, with the technology that we have now, it would be very unlikely for men to take advantage of male enhancement supplements if the ingredients are delivered through a transdermal patch. As it stands, we’re all better off with the best male enhancement pills like Formula 41 Extreme that can be absorbed just as efficiently as you would expect it to be.
